Major Work Activities with the School for Workers
Teach in UW-Extension classes, conferences, and institutes, covering topics relating to fields of interest, particularly in the area of industrial engineering.
Provide paid and unpaid consultative service to union officers and staff, joint committees, government organizations, and employers in the State of Wisconsin relative to industrial engineering, job evaluation, production standards, sex discrimination, safety and health problems. Conduct in-plant investigations, organizational studies, job analyses and plant walkarounds as requested by union staff to investigate problems, make recommendations, and write technical reports.
