Our classes and programs cover a wide range of topics. We use an inter-disciplinary approach drawing on faculty expertise in economics, history, industrial engineering, industrial relations, business, political science and the law.
While most of our programming activity occurs in Wisconsin and neighboring states, we frequently travel to states outside the region and to foreign countries.
Our clients are union staff, officers and active members as well as management and union representatives on labor-management committees and teams.
If you are interested in sponsoring a class in which participation is limited to the membership of your organization, contact Carol Graham at 608-262-4496 or schoolforworkers@uwex.edu.
We custom design programs in many different formats including:
- evening and weekend classes
- presentations and workshops at your meeting or convention
- customized on-site classes
- institutes on leadership or specialized topics in Madison or elsewhere
- labor-management facilitations
- union only facilitations

Our faculty also conduct applied research, have worked on a broad variety of special projects, and are available for technical assistance. See more.
